Hamburg’s own Love-Songs dropped a dark ball of Kraut electronic delight last week in the form of a new album, id. Coming in at 7 songs and a runtime of 47 minutes, the album elegantly dives in between vast electronic spheres, mechanic drums, and distant words and vocals, creating an industrial, almost binary rhythm of back and forth. Still, underneath it all lies a bright beam of light, a white rope of optimism cutting the darkness in half. 47 minutes of almost hypnotic beauty, words, drums and synth in perfect poetry.
Thursday, Sep 28th, will see them take the stages at Hamburg’s Frappant in celebration of their new album. Team Poule says, round and round they go.
