Red hot new gem by French super group Duellum. After hitting it in the studios for while, the quartet ecstatically returns with a new song Conakry – and it comes with appealing visuals which are attached below, at your convenience. Directing on this piece of film were gentlemen Samuel Charmont, Pierre Hessemans and Matthieu Ravet, so hat-tip to them!
Conakry then, for you geographically inclined, is the name of the capital in Guinea and according to Duellum the new track is part of a project inspired by West Africa, Moh Kouyaté and the Bembeya Jazz. Conakry will be out digitally and on a limited vinyl pressing tomorrow, and be sure to catch them as part of a larger extravaganza at Paris’ Point Ephemere this Saturday for Record Store Day. This summer they are confirmed to play Odelart Festival in Clamart, and Saint-Rock Festival in La Clayette. Team Poule says, vive la France!
