Swedish Australian power duo Kate Boy have been at it for some time, and just in time for the darkest days and longest nights of the year the Kate and the Boys decided to take their talents on a larger European tour. They come packing their debut album One – which feels like a very good choice of name for the first piece of album recording in a discography. They’ll be stopping in London, Amsterdam and Cologne this week – before heading deeper into Germany for gigs in Berlin and Hamburg and ultimately playing Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen. All dates and whereabouts here.
Tuesday next week, December 8th, sees them playing their tunes in Hamburg at the prestigious new venue Häkken nestled right into the shiny Clubhaus St. Pauli complex. Häkken sports one of the finest soundsystems across the country and Kate Boy’s banging electro-pop should be a great scene to watch on that stage. Tickets for the show presented by your favorite Team Poule are still up for sale here.
