While yesterday picks for Reeperbahn Festival Icona Pop didn’t seem to care too much about the 70s – you’re from the 70s, I’m a 90’s bitch – it seems that today’s favorite Parisienne Mina Tindle is right into that decade. It was Milo Tindle, a character played by Michael Caine (!) in 1972’s mystery movie ‘Sleuth’ by Joseph Mankiewicz, who inspired her stage name.
She released a really lovely EP last year packed with sweet folk’ish indie pop tunes. In March she followed up with a debut album that is just as appealing. Soft ballads, as well as happy pop tunes that just put a smile on your face. Just like her new single Too Loud that comes with this adorable video above.
Mina Tindle is playing Café Keese on Thursday at 20h30.
